.NET software for work the browser can't do
Desktop Applications
Some work genuinely does not belong in a browser — equipment that needs a serial connection, datasets too large to move, or a plant floor with no reliable network. That is what desktop software is still for.
Is this for you?
Sound familiar?
- You depend on a Windows application whose original developer is long gone.
- Equipment on the floor needs software a browser can't reach.
- Work has to carry on when the network doesn't.
How we help
What you get
Talks to hardware
Scales, scanners, meters, controllers and lab equipment that a web page simply cannot reach.
Works without a network
Full function offline, syncing when a connection comes back.
Handles large data locally
Processing that would be impractical to upload, and slow to run in a browser.
Integrates with the desktop
The file system, local printers, Office documents and Windows services.
Deploys quietly
Installers and automatic updates that your IT provider can roll out without a project.
Maintained, not inherited
We take on existing .NET systems and modernize them rather than insisting on a rewrite.
Our approach
Working with .NET
Most of our desktop work is .NET on Windows, often line-of-business software that has been running for years and needs extending rather than replacing. Inheriting a system somebody else wrote is normal for us, and we would usually rather improve a working system than talk a client into starting over.
Where a desktop application needs to reach the outside world, we build the API and cloud side too — so the reporting your leadership wants can live in a browser while the operational work stays where it belongs.
Capabilities
- .NET and .NET Core application development
- Legacy system modernization
- SQL Server database work
- Hardware and serial device integration
- Azure integration and cloud reporting
